Green Fairs for Colleges

In order to assist student groups in planning activities to promote green issues, several resources have been compiled. 

The Event Planning Guide offers a step-by-step tool to help Student Clubs and Organizations plan activities and events.  If your club or student organization would like to host a Green Fair or other student activity related to sustainability on your College Campus, careful planning is required to ensure good turn-out and success.

The list of Community Resources includes those that provide educational information on living more sustainably.  These organizations often have teams who attend events to distribute educational materials, speak, or demo green products.  

Each college has an Associated Students Organization (ASO) and an administrator who advises the Associated Students.  The Student Services Contacts provides the telephone contact information for ASO Advisors and ASO offices for each of the LACCD campuses. 

The Promotional Flyers can be used as a template when advertising sustainable or green activities.
